In Australia, we’ve made significant strides towards the 2030 goal of virtually eliminating HIV transmission – but what do recent shifts in the global HIV response mean here, and for the rest of the world?  Amidst global uncertainty and loss of funding for HIV services, the reality of ending the HIV epidemic hangs in the balance. To end the HIV epidemic, in Australia and around the world we must work together to ensure health justice for all people living with and affected by HIV.

What to expect -

In acknowledgement of this challenging global context, the Australasian HIV&AIDS Conference (15-17 September) will have a theme: Towards health justice: medicine, science, and the politics of ending the HIV epidemic. Join us as we explore how we can make ending the HIV epidemic a reality.

Then, the Australasian Sexual and Reproductive Health Conference (16-18 September) will unite experts, researchers, and advocates to address key issues in sexual and reproductive health across Australasia. Focusing on innovation, inclusivity, and best practices, the event will explore advancements, policy challenges, and future strategies to improve health outcomes in our communities. Collaborate, elevate and innovate!
