Connection and celebration through art.

Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day has been celebrated since 2014. It’s the day when we honour long-term survivors of HIV (25 years +) and raise awareness about their needs, issues, and journeys.

The first Wednesday of each month the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation (BGF) facilitates Art Classes for people living with HIV.

For Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day we are having an open day from 11:00 am to 2:00pm. The day will create an opportunity through art and conversation to create a group canvas to acknowledge and celebrate our resilience and our long term survival.

Thanks to Jo Morgan (BGF worker) for supporting this event and providing the creative materials.

This event is a collaboration between BGF South Australia, SAMESH and Positive Life SA (PLSA)
